Congratulations BIA's Westchester Express Players moving on the the USA National Development Program

Former Brewster Ice Arena & Westchester Express 1996 players Joe Wegwerth & Sonny Milano have accepted a position on the USA National Development U17 team for the 2012-13 Season in Ann Arbor, MI.

Joe Wegwerth, a 6'2" 200 lb. power forward, played his entire career in Brewster from Mites to Juniors and just completed this season with the Brewster Junior Empire team that was a National Junior Semi-Finalist. The Empire League was ranked fourth last season in College Committments behind the USHL, EJHL and the NAHL.

Sonny Milano, a highly skilled & crafty forward, hails from Long Island
and was a member of the '95 Westchester Express team that won 3 State Championships and was USAH National Semi-Finalist twice.
Sonny's commute from L.I. paid dividends in his development.

Both players will follow former Brewster Ice Arena & Westchester Express 1995 players John Hayden and Steve Santini who are members of this season USANTDP's U17 team.
The program now has sent 4 players in 2 seasons to Ann Arbor
to wear Red, White & Blue..........we are proud to have provided the venue for these dedicated players to achieve their goals while enjoying the process....
